What are the requirements for saskatchewan maternity leave? I see some places say its 600 hours and some say its 20 weeks. Now if it is 20 weeks does it have to be 20 weeks at the same place?

I'm 9 wks. preg. and some of my skirts and pants are feeling tight already up to the point where the leave a thin red mark on my abd. I'm not big enough to fill a bit maternity clothes so what would be ok for me to wear because I don't want to be uncomfortable either.
Is there anything for in-betweens?
Oh and I forgot to mention that my non-strech tops don't fit so I'm just wearing strechy ones.

Or do you get maternity clothes in the size you normally wear?

I am almost 15 weeks and my pre-pregnancy clothes do not fit at all. I was wearing them up until last week with the button and zipper open and a belly band but theya re just too uncomfortable. Now, my belly is not poking out but it is much bigger than before. Rather than having 3 or 4 different stages of clothes, I just want to start wearing maternity clothes. They are comfortable and it makes sense to me. I am proud to show off my belly.

A woman at my job came up and asked me today how far along I am so I told her 15 weeks. She looked at me like I was an idiot and asked why I was wearing maternity clothes already cause my belly is barely poking out. I told her it was more comfortable. She laughed and said "But you are barely pregnant". I snapped back that she "Barely had any class" and just walked away.

When did you start wearing maternity clothes and do you think I am strange for starting at 15 weeks if my belly is growing and my old clothes aren't fitting?
I could care less about her opinion but it really annoyed me. (Imagine that - a pregnant woman annoyed!)

I am 14 weeks. I feel comfortable in the few maternity clothes that I have, as opposed to feeling fat and stuffed into my regular clothes. I just feel kinda silly (I know sounds shallow) for wearing maternity clothes now. I am showing some, but just barely. In fact my tummy just popped out a few mornings ago. The top of my tummy is bigger than what I have read it should be for this early.

I am nearly 30 weeks and my work is asking when i am going to resign as I am not entitled to maternity leave.

I am sick of working already and am getting really big and uncomfortable right now ( as many of you understand) and think I will leave in four weeks. 6 weeks before I am due. We have to movwe house if not done by then already and set up all the nursery and I would really love some time to sleep and just put my feet up.....

What do you think>?
What is everyone else doing?

I am feeling quite sad after being with my baby 2 months and now I have to go back to work. I feel somewhat guilty. If you are a working mom, please let me know how you handled going back to work after maternity leave. Thanks!

Hi there I currently have an attatchment of earnings on my wages due to me not paying my council tax and am due to start getting maternity allowance in November. Does anyone know if it still gets taken off as MA is not classed as wages is it? Thanks

I'll be going to my sister-in-law's engagement party in late February and I'll be about 34 weeks pregnant by then. I'll need a maternity dress, but this is going to be a very formal event. Where's the best place to buy nice (NOT jersey) maternity gowns or dresses?

I was just wondering i am trying to naturally induce my labour and i heard maternity acupressure is really effective.
I was just wondering if anyone can tell me after you finish rubbing the points how long is it meant to be before you go into labour? Straight away or what?
