i don't really remember when i started wearing maternity jeans with my first pregnancy and i never bought maternity shirts... just loose stuff from the juniors section (i was only 21). now i am pregnant with my second and i turned 19 weeks today. today is also the first day that i have worn maternity jeans. i have been wearing regular jeans, but they are just getting too uncomfortable. i was only a size 3 when i got pregnant, but i just don't feel like i should already be in maternity clothes!!

I am 5 weeks pregnant and I've already gained a bit of weight and my jeans are getting tight. I don't like getting my belly squished. Should I get maternity jeans soon? When did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I'm looking for SUPPORT, not something to keep my pants up. I have maternity jeans and slacks. However, my belly and lower back still ache from the weight of my daughter. What should I be using to 'prop' her up?

I had my baby a month ago and I had only bought 1 pair of maternity jeans while I was pregnant because I have uniform for work. Now my pants have holes and I am debating about buying another pair of maternity pants.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and really like the half (low) panel maternity jeans but the elastic waist band keeps riding up to the top of the material and folding in on it's self. How do I fix it and prevent it from happening when I wash them? It shows through my maternity shirts and looks funny. It's too hot to wear the full belly maternity pants. Any suggestions? Where is the best place to buy reasonably priced maternity clothes and accessories such as maternity jeans, maternity girdle, support hosiery, feeding bra, etc? We are living in the Washington DC metropolitan area and did check Ross, Marshall and TJ Maxx stores. Where else can we buy necessary things which will have good quality and low price?
Thank you all who answered to this question. I've found 3 maternity outlets not so fat from DC area. It looks like this is the best place for maternity shopping.

I was wondering if anyone wore jeans home from the hospital after giving birth? Were you uncomfortable? They will be maternity jeans of course.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and already need some maternity jeans. But I know I will get bigger, and need additional sizes. I'm hoping to limit the number of times I buy maternity clothes. Just looking for guidance from you ladies who have gone through this process.
