If you opened a maternity store, what decor would you be most comfortable with?
Author: I am in the process of opening a maternity clothing/ gift shop. Are women tired of shopping in soft pastel color stores aimed at the baby theme? Or would you prefer going into a hip black and white, or colorful store with good top 20 music playing?
What do you think would do better?
Any HELPFUL suggestions are welcomed!

When did you start wearing maternity pants?
I cannot wait to go shopping but I do not want to do it too early. I am feeling bloated but I know it is not my baby belly quiet yet. I am 8 + weeks. Average size (currently size 8). When will I need maternity pants?
Is it stupid to buy maternity clothes ahead of time?
I love clearance shopping and like to plan ahead when I buy things cheap. Would it be stupid to buy maternity clothes now even though I'm not showing? If not, what stores do you recommend for super cute maternity clothes? I don't want anything frumpy!

Where is the best place to buy reasonably priced maternity clothes and accessories such as maternity jeans, maternity girdle, support hosiery, feeding bra, etc? We are living in the Washington DC metropolitan area and did check Ross, Marshall and TJ Maxx stores. Where else can we buy necessary things which will have good quality and low price?
Thank you all who answered to this question. I've found 3 maternity outlets not so fat from DC area. It looks like this is the best place for maternity shopping.
