What to wear to a maternity photo shoot?
Author: A friend of a friend is doing my maternity photo shoot and I want to know what would be a good wardrobe for this special day. What clothing or accessories should I have at hand. Where can I get like a drape or fabric for semi nude pics? Lingerie? Any serious suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
Also I want my 19 month old to be in some of the pictures, what should I have her wear?

Other than maybe special lingerie of your own or perhaps a dress shirt of the father’s, the photographer should be providing wardrobe such as wraps and drapes.
The photographer should also be discussing it with you ahead of time . . . you should not be figuring this out, it’s their job.
That said . . .
If it’s entirely up to you, wedding rings, baby’s father’s dress shirt, baby shoes, family heirlooms, letter blocks, small, meaningful items that can be placed on your belly. A tube top or bra (depends on the look you are after), under belly panties or tap pants, a favorite robe (preferably light weight), soft fabric or shawls, anything you would be comfortable wearing.
But again, a photographer should be creating a total image. That includes consulting with you about what to bring, what look you are after and having appropriate clothing and props available too.
