I started wearing maternity pants right away. My jeans just didn’t fit comfortably anymore. I put on a lot of water weight at the get-go, so as soon as I stopped being comfortable in my jeans, I started wearing maternity clothes.

They do make maternity jeans that have an adjustable elastic band at the top of them. My grandmother found me a pair at JCPenny.

I say, as soon as you’re not comfortable in your regular clothes, you have two options: 1 buy a bigger size and 2 buy maternity pants. Being pregnant is a wonderful experience, but there’s enough discomfort involved with it as it is. You don’t need to be ashamed to wear comfortable clothes that fit your tummy.

I still haven’t… I’m 28 weeks and still fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans, although they are most comfortable when I button them use a hair tie.

haha, right away! I noticed my pants didn’t fit as good at week 7. But I think a lot of it is mental, I always subconsiously suck in my stomach and once I realized I was pregnant I stopped. I thought, "hey, I’m not fat, Im pregnant, so why bother?"

Dont remember when i got maternity gear but dont walk around being uncomfortable, time to adjust ur wardrobe i think

  • Angelina says:

When my pants started feeling a little tight i just went and got a belly band. It goes over the top of your pants so u don’t have to button them up or zip them up. I started wearing maternity clothes around 22 weeks or so but i still fit into some jeans it all depends on what ones.

    Hope that helps
