Where can I find out what kind of disability payments I will be receiving during my maternity leave?

I asked my HR department at work and they were unable to tell me how much disability I will be receiving during my maternity leave and I'm curious just for budgeting purposes.

I live in California and I think I'm eligible for 4 weeks before my due date and 6 weeks after birth. I also know that I can take more time off without pay, which I'm planning on.

  • Books says:

California Paid Family Leave (PFL) was a piece of legislation that went into effect in 2004. Under PFL, up to six weeks of paid leave can be taken with a percentage of wages, around 55%.
